Do I need fishing experience to book a trip?

Not at all. We welcome anglers of all skill levels, from first-time fishermen to seasoned anglers. Damon provides instruction, guidance, and local knowledge to help make your experience enjoyable and successful.

Cardiac Mountain Outfitters offers both traditional fishing and fly fishing trips throughout Missouri’s Ozark region. Trip options include float trips, walk-and-wade experiences, private access waters, and multi-day fishing expeditions.

Yes. Guests are responsible for providing their own waders. Proper wading gear is recommended for comfort and safety during many of our fishing experiences.

Yes. All anglers are responsible for obtaining the required fishing licenses and permits before their trip. Additional trout tags may be required depending on the water being fished.

Absolutely. Fly fishing trips are suitable for anglers who are new to the sport as well as experienced fly fishermen. Damon can provide instruction and tips throughout the day.

Trips operate in most weather conditions. However, if river conditions or weather create safety concerns, Damon may reschedule the trip to ensure the best possible experience for everyone involved.

Yes. Current River trips can be booked as:

  • Half-Day (approximately 4 hours)
  • Full-Day (approximately 6 hours)

Additional trip lengths may be available depending on the expedition.

Many trips are family-friendly and suitable for younger anglers. Contact us before booking to discuss age recommendations and trip suitability.

Yes. Food and drinks are included on expedition-style trips. Specific trip details will be provided when booking.
